For individual/joint accounts, the following documents are required:

1) Supporting document for mailing address (applicable if mailing address differs from residential address)

  • Utility bills, no older than 3 months
  • Credit card statement or bank statement, no older than 3 months
  • Valid government issued ID
  • Latest tenancy agreements, no older than 3 months

1) NRIC/Identity Card*/Passport

Identity Cards from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia are admissible. Passports for account opening are to have a minimum validity of at least 6 months from expiry.

 2) Supporting document for residential/mailing address (applicable to non-NRIC holder)

3) Supporting document for mailing address (applicable if mailing address differs from residential address)

First Time Deposit is not required for Individual/Joint accounts.

 

For Corporate accounts, the minimum First Time Deposit is SGD30,000 or its equivalent in other currencies.

You will receive an email containing your account number(s) once your application has been approved. Next, you will need to fund the account to start trading. Funding can be done using various methods like FAST, PayNow, etc. you may refer to our Funding FAQ for more information on the funding methods available.
