About the server update

We will be updating our Phillip MT5 servers to reflect our name change to ‘Phillip Nova’ on Saturday, 27 August 2022.

Please note that due to the update, you will be logged out from your trading account on Saturday, 27 August 2022. To continue your trading on Phillip MT5, please follow the easy to follow steps listed below.

NOTE: For clients who currently do not recall their Phillip MT5 login and password, we recommend performing a reset of login details prior to the server update. This will ensure a smoother transition during the server update. Should you have any query, please call or WhatsApp the Client Service Desk at (65) 6538 0500 or email nova@phillip.com.sg.

Updating the server of your Phillip MT5

I remember my Phillip MT5 login & password 

Step 1 – Simply launch your Phillip MT5 application after 12pm on Saturday, 27 August 2022 and add ‘Phillip Nova Pte Ltd’ as a broker under the account setting tab.

Step 2 -Upon adding Phillip Nova, select ‘PhillipNova-Server’ under the ‘Use Existing Account’ section and input your login credentials.

Step 3 – Navigate to the OTP section under the settings tab and bind your MT5 account to your mobile device.

Step 4 -Resume trading*.

 

*For Desktop Users

Please note you are required to download the latest MT5 desktop application (links below) first before attempting to login onto the new servers. Uninstalling of the existing version is NOT required.

I forgot my Phillip MT5 login & password 

Step 1 – Login to Phillip Nova Client Portal here.

Step 2 – Click on the menu icon located at the top left corner of the window (see screenshot below).

Step 3 – Tap the ‘Password Reset’ option under the ‘Platform Request’ header (see screenshot below).

Step 4 – Select ‘MT5’ as the platform, input your login ID and check the disclaimer box before submitting your request. (see screenshot below).

Step 5 – Upon retrieving your MT5 login credentials, simply perform steps 1-4 under the section I remember my MT5 login & password to complete the server update.

I forgot my MT5 password and my client portal login id & password

Step 1 – Login to Phillip Nova Client Portal here (see screenshot below).

Step 2 – Click on the forget password option located below the ‘sign in’ button

Step 3 – Follow the onscreen instructions to reset your client portal password

Step 4 – Select ‘MT5’ as the platform, input your login ID and check the disclaimer box before submitting your request. (see screenshot below).

Step 5 – Upon retrieving your Phillip Nova Client Portal login credentials, simply perform steps 1-5 under the section I forgot my Phillip MT5 login & password to continue with the server update.

I forgot my Phillip MT5 login & password and i have never logged into client portal previously

I need help but none of the statements above describe my situation

For immediate assistance, please contact our IT support specialists at (65) 6531 1788. Our IT support specialists will be available from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, 27 August 2022 to perform a manually-assisted reset of your Phillip MT5 account password. Should you be unable to call within the specified window above, you may reach out to our IT support specialists on Mondays to Fridays from 5am (SGT) onwards. 

Upon a successful reset of your MT5 password, please perform steps 1-5 under the section I remember my MT5 login and password.
