With effect from trade date 26 May 2023, for products that have night trading session, a five minutes central auction session will be added prior to the opening of the day trading session from 8.55am to 9.00am, for Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE), Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE).
INE & DCE:
During the newly introduced central auction session in the day trading session, fresh bids and asks can be entered into the central order book between 8.55am to 8.59am. Orders are subsequently matched between 8.59am to 9.00am and no orders can be entered or cancelled during this period. Unfilled orders during the night trading hours shall remain active for automatic matching in the central auction session of day trading hours. The open price is the execution price established in the open central auction.
Unfilled orders during the central auction session shall remain active for automatic matching in the following trading session. The orders will stay valid for the whole trading day until they are filled or canceled.
ZCE:
During the newly introduced central auction session in the day trading session, no fresh bids and asks can be entered into the central order book. Orders are subsequently matched between 8.59am to 9.00am and no orders can be cancelled during this period. Unfilled orders during the night trading hours shall remain active for automatic matching in the central auction session of day trading hours where they may be cancelled. The open price is the execution price established in an open central auction.
Unfilled orders during the central auction session shall remain active for automatic matching in the following trading session. The orders will stay valid for the whole trading day until they are filled or canceled.
